Arts Impact Presents at World Conference on Arts Education

UNESCO World Conference on Arts Education and Joint Declaration

Of the many presentations from all over the world over the course of the week, sixteen presentations featured arts education projects from the United States. Two of the selected presentations/papers from the United States featured Washington State arts education projects: Arts Impact Teacher Training project and the Arts Education Resources Initiative (AERI) a project of the Washington State Arts Commission .

Additionally, the Arts Impact Arts-Infused Learning project was featured in a separate paper, Arts-Infused Learning: Artistic Pathways for At-Risk Learners (PDF) published on the UNESCO web-site and also available through Arts Impact's website. UNESCO also issued a Joint Declaration in support of arts education and can be found here.
