View samples of Arts Infused Lesson Plans used in the Arts Infused
Summer School curriculum. These lessons are written in a format
common to all Arts Impact Lesson plans. For example, in the Visual
Arts 1 Lesson Plan “Narrative: Beginning, Middle, End”
presents the shared concept of beginning, middle, end found in Reading
Essential Learning (REL) 1.3; reads fluently: read fluently
when incorporating new skills or reading materials: beginning, middle,
end and Arts Essential Learning (AEL) 3.2 for a purpose:
illustration: narrative: beginning, middle, end. Additional un-shared
reading and arts concepts are also presented in these lessons. All
concepts taught in each lesson are listed in the box at the end
of the Instructional Strategies section.
